We are looking for a passionate Site Engineer to join the team out in Kyneton. We are looking for someone to work in a collaborative work environment in a team of high performers. Who are we? What we are looking for? 3 years experience in a similar role working for a head contractor. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent. Valid Construction White Card and First Aid Certification. Strong understanding of large commercial construction projects. Ability to handle the administrative duties of position, including completion of required documents. Ability to interpret drawings, plans and blueprints in conjunction with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to adhere and meet tight deadlines. The ability to build relationships across a wide range of professionals with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to priorities and close out issues to satisfaction of the stakeholders. What are your responsibilities? Assist in the design, design coordination between individual services, the structure and other building elements, on site installation, general compliance, commissioning and certifications of all building services on conjunction with the PM, service manager or nominee. Collaborate in developing, reviewing, monitoring and compliance with all ITP’s. Support with technical problem solving including sending and chasing RFI’s. Adhere to the Company’s defined WHS and Environmental policies, procedures and legislative requirements. Assist in developing defect and punch lists, monitoring, coordinating and closing remedial works and ultimate sign off. Liaise with architects and engineers regarding quality of work. Adhere to the organisation’s defined Quality policies and procedures. Undertake any other responsibilities consistent with skills, qualifications and experience as may be required from time to time.
