Leading Hand – Pineapple Farm, Beerwah
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Leading Hand to join our team on a family run pineapple farm. If you enjoy outdoor work, take pride in doing things well, and want to be part of a productive farm operation, this role offers long-term stability and variety.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Day-to-day farm operations, including: taking truckloads of fruit to pack houses, fork lifting when harvesting, and assisting with getting ground ready
* Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
* Coordinating tasks with management and supporting seasonal workers
* Assisting with fertilising, and weed control
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Required Skills & Licences:
* Current forklift licence, preferably with experience operating on uneven or off-road surfaces, (if you do not have a forklift licence but have a truck licence and show good skills a pathway to a forklift licence is available through the business)
* Current truck licence
* MR (Medium Rigid) truck licence required
* Ability to work independently
* Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
* Australian work rights required
Desirable (but not essential):
* Front-end loader licence – can be obtained at a later date
* Previous experience in horticulture, crop management, or machinery maintenance
