What you’ll do: Lead and manage the development team, providing technical guidance and support. Ensure the timely delivery of software projects within budget and scope. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications. Oversee the code review process among the team ensuring alignment to technical standards defined. Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and shared application components. What we’re looking for: Extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Proven experience in multiple programming languages and development frameworks. e.g. Web development using Angular, React or other. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Experience with project management tools and techniques. Proficient understanding of cloud infrastructure. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies including but not limited to; AWS/AZURE, Authentication processes, Cloud databases. Ability to coach junior staff. A seasoned and senior expert who can lead the delivery of results through others and provide advice vertically and horizontally. Ability to solve complex business problems with minimal guidance provided. A Team Leader who leads individual contributors who are experienced technical experts and/or leads medium sized operational teams (team size of 5-20 people). You can form annual prioritisation of work for yourself and team, support of the broader BU agenda. Ability to lead several large projects with broad impact. Ability to influences others to support long term strategic objectives at a Business and BU level. Ability to manage a budget and monitor spend for your area. Skilled in assessing and prioritizing AI opportunities based on value and feasibility, balancing ambition, risk, and delivery constraints. Experienced in process mapping, requirements definition, stakeholder engagement, and confident collaborating with senior stakeholders. Clear communication skills for executive and delivery audiences, supported by formal education in business or related fields and foundational AI training.
