AWX is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Carpenters and Skilled labourers who have a sound level of experience in the Building Industry to join our dynamic teams working on a project in Ellis Beach,
We offer exciting short- and long-term opportunities across a variety of industries including landscaping, civil and building construction for applicants that are self-motivated and bring a positive CAN DO attitude to the team.
These roles will be on a Casual & ongoing basis as needed by our clients. You need to have the ability to commence immediately. A main requirement is for people who fit our culture with a positive “CAN DO” attitude and be self-motivated.
This role offers a Monday to Friday roster in the beachside town of Ellis Beach.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Carpentry Trade – Cert III Carpentry (Preferred)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Own Transport
- Current Construction White Card
- Demonstrated Labouring Experience in the Building industry (from footings to fit out)
- Civil works projects, landscape & hardscape project exposure will be highly regarded
GENERIC REQUIREMENTS
- Own PPE including long sleeve high vis, hard hat, steel capped boots and safety glasses
- Physically capable for manual site duties
- Ability to work long hours
- Reliable and flexible
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and with others
