Position Overview
Fulton Hogan - Infrastructure Services is seeking an experienced Project Engineer based in Townsville, Queensland. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will oversee contractor performance and HSEQ compliance, playing a key role in developing and delivering regional projects. This role offers opportunities to gain experience across technical, design, operational, and construction disciplines while fostering a safety-first culture.
Responsibilities
* Deliver projects according to contractual obligations and company policies.
* Manage client, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships.
* Handle project management tasks including scheduling, contractual administration, procurement, and technical issues.
* Manage financial aspects such as budgets, progress claims, and forecasts.
* Conduct risk assessments and site audits to ensure compliance.
* Apply best practices in Asphalt and Surfacing.
Candidate Requirements
Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer delivering infrastructure projects valued at $20M, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, strong financial and contractual skills, and a passion for leadership. Flexibility to travel is required.
