Description
You will play a key role in a major payroll remediation program, working across large, complex datasets and applying deep award interpretation knowledge. This is a technically rich role ideal for someone who enjoys detailed analysis, problem‐solving, and delivering accurate, transparent outcomes:
* Analyse historical payroll data to identify variances, trends, and compliance gaps
* Apply complex award and EBA rules across overtime, penalties, allowances, and entitlements
* Support the design, build, and testing of remediation models
* Validate data from multiple payroll and time‐and‐attendance systems
* Prepare clear reports, documentation, and insights for internal and external stakeholders
* Work closely with payroll, finance, HR, and external advisers to ensure aligned methodologies
* Recommend improvements to strengthen future compliance and controls
Profile
* Strong capability in interpreting and applying complex awards and EBAs
* Experience in payroll remediation, payroll auditing, or data‐heavy payroll projects
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work confidently with large datasets from multiple systems
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical findings
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset with a passion for compliance and fairness
