Our client is an emerging interior design and architecture practice who operates across Residential, Commercial & Hospitality projects. Their modern offices are located around the Marrickville area in the Inner West of Sydney.
About the role
As the Office Manager & EA, you will be in a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and productivity of the business, while also providing vital administrative support to the Directors and their broader Design & Project Management team. You will be proactive, forward‐thinking, energetic, motivated and use initiative in daily business activities.
* General office management including IT support, stationery, organisation of meeting rooms, catering & refreshments
* High‐level, confidential executive support to the Directors (inbox / diary management)
* Create and implement a range of processes and policies for the business, ensuring efficiency across the team
* Welcome guests, handle calls, and manage office emails
* Fleet and insurance management
* Organise staff events (e.g., year‐end functions) and general culture & engagement initiatives
* Perform diverse admin tasks, including purchase orders and invoices (XERO)
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a strong level of professionalism at all times
* General marketing (social media / website / proposals) & project support
* Provide ad hoc support to senior staff
To be successful in this role, you should possess
* A minimum of 3–5 years experience in a similar role preferably within the design or construction industry
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
* Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders face to face
* Excellent verbal and written skills, attention to detail is a must
* A proactive and solution‐driven approach, with a focus on continuous improvement
* Exceptional, polished communications
