Job Description
The role of a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Bathurst Health Service is to provide effective inpatient and outpatient services as part of a multidisciplinary team. This will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing obstetric and gynaecological services to patients
* Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives to improve the overall quality of care provided
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:
1. Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist or via the overseas-trained pathway
2. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership
3. Effective communication skills, including IT proficiency
4. Commitment to teaching, research, and quality improvement
5. Availability for on-call duties and on-site response
6. Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists
