About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Market Operations Officer to support compliance and data integrity within the National Electricity Market.
Reporting to the Market Operations Manager, this role is responsible for managing Standing Data and Meter Data in line with LNSP and MDP obligations. You will play a critical role in resolving data exceptions, processing service orders, and ensuring all activities are completed accurately within regulated timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, investigate, and resolve Standing and Metering Data exceptions
* Process meter and settlement data within regulated timeframes
* Action and close Retailer and SAPN service orders accurately
* Manage and resolve retailer enquiries and complaints promptly
* Ensure accurate closure of B2B and Connections Service Orders
* Support market compliance through accurate data management
* Undertake additional duties as directed within scope of capability
Skills and Experience Required
* Background in professional administration or operations support
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Proactive, reliable, and highly organised work style
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident working with systems, data, and regulated processes
* Strong work ethic with a solutions-focused mindset
* Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments advantageous
