About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Project Officer.
As a Senior Project Officer, you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions to complex problems. You will be responsible for applying significant rigour, judgement, initiative, project management and change management techniques to drive business outcomes.
* You should have a tertiary qualification in laws or a degree in archaeology or anthropology.
* You must be able to work under broad direction, critically analysing complex problems and developing effective solutions.
* You should have significant experience in developing and interpreting strategy or policy, identifying priorities and providing written reports and briefings.
You will be expected to prepare verbal presentations and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, promoting collaboration and consensus building.
About the Work Environment
The Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation team works closely with Aboriginal people, communities and organisations, empowering them to have a stronger voice in government decision-making and the management of Aboriginal heritage.
Special Requirements
You must hold a National Police Certificate clearance and may need to travel interstate or intrastate.
