Role Summary:

The Shire of Toodyay is seeking a skilled Community Emergency Services Manager to join our team in a full-time permanent capacity.

As the Community Emergency Services Manager, you will be responsible for the emergency management system, focusing on the delivery and implementation of preparedness, prevention, response, and recovery services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Experience in applying risk management standards to community risk, particularly in relation to community vulnerability planning.
* Demonstrated extensive experience and knowledge of fire and emergency services industry, including understanding of the role of volunteers, local government and other stakeholders in an emergency services environment.
* Ability to provide training.
* Capacity to manage bushfire and emergency operations effectively.
* Commitment to obtaining the DFES workplace training and assessor course.
