We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Job Description
* This hands-on role involves planned maintenance, line changeovers, breakdown response and diagnostics for equipment in Regional Victoria.
Responsibilities
1. Participate actively in the Planned Preventive Maintenance Programme.
2. Perform line changeovers and production maintenance.
3. Respond to and manage breakdowns in a timely manner.
4. Diagnostics and fault finding.
5. Ensure stoppages, performance issues and breakdowns are addressed and rectified safely and efficiently.
6. Routine checks, inspections and preventative works.
7. Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
8. Solve immediate and long-term problems effectively.
Requirements
* Previous experience in mechanical maintenance in a production environment.
* Automated high-speed filling/packing machine operation and breakdown expertise.
* Troubleshooting, modifying and improving current equipment and processes.
* Mechanical and pneumatic systems and automation knowledge.
* Qualification(s) in Engineering / Mechanical / Fitter / Electrical - Certificate III preferred.
* Strong work ethic.
* Teamwork skills and ability to function with minimal supervision.
* Ongoing commitment to Safety and Quality at all times.
