About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and enhance automation testing processes, ensuring they meet engineering standards, and driving improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for Business Regression Testing (BRT) and Production Verification Testing (PVT).
Key Responsibilities
* Define and Implement an Effective End-to-End Business Regression Automation Testing Strategy
* Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Scripts for End-to-End Business Regression Testing and Production Verification Testing
* Collaborate with Business Test Analysts, Test Managers, Product Owners, and Development Teams to Understand Business Requirements and Design Comprehensive Business Regression Test Suites
* Work Closely with Cross-Functional Teams to Identify and Prioritize Business Scenarios for Regression Testing and Production Verification Testing
* Configure and Integrate Automated Tests into the Jenkins CI/CD Pipeline to Ensure That Tests Are Executed Automatically as Part of the Software Delivery Process
* Conduct Workshops and Provide Hands-On Guidance to Enterprise Delivery Test Team Members to Enhance Their Automation Skills
* Manage the Workload of Automation Test Engineers, Ensuring Tasks Are Appropriately Assigned and Deadlines Met
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of test automation experience, including UI, mobile, and mainframe testing. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience as an automation test lead and have maintained an automation work backlog. ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Certification (CTFL) is mandatory, and proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation, such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, is required. You should also have hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks to support automation for web applications, mobile applications, mainframe applications, and BDD.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 Years of Test Automation Experience
* At Least 2 Years of Experience as an Automation Test Lead
* ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Certification (CTFL)
* Proficiency in at Least One Programming Language Commonly Used for Test Automation
* Hands-On Experience with Test Automation Tools and Frameworks
* Familiarity with Version Control Systems Like Git for Managing and Tracking Changes to Test Scripts and Test Assets
* Proficiency in Testing APIs Using Tools Like Postman, REST Assured, or Tools Integrated with Programming Languages
* Familiarity with Test Management Tools for Test Case Management, Execution, and Reporting
* Experience Integrating Automated Tests into CI/CD Pipelines
