Are you looking for an exciting leadership opportunity with a rapidly growing regional airline? Nexus Airlines is seeking an experienced Cabin Crew Manager to join our expanding operations team. Nexus Airlines is Western Australia's newest and truly regional airline.

Due to our continued growth and increasing demand for our services, we are looking for someone who can lead and manage our cabin crew department while contributing to the next phase of Nexus' success. As Cabin Crew Manager, you will report to the Head of Flying Operations and be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cabin crew department, ensuring the highest levels of safety, training, and customer service.
You will also play a key role in the recruitment, training, and professional development of our cabin crew members, helping to maintain our high standards in a competitive and expanding market.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the cabin crew department, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Establish and drive long-term strategic goals for cabin crew operations in alignment with Nexus' growth plans.
Monitor and assess staffing needs, facilitating recruitment campaigns to meet increasing operational demands.
Maintain and develop cabin crew work systems and procedures to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Engage with external stakeholders and unions to maintain harmonious working relationships and negotiate as needed.
Manage performance reviews, disciplinary matters, and investigations within the cabin crew department.
Actively participate in industrial relations negotiations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and awards.
Promote safety as a core value, ensuring all team members adhere to duty of care requirements, including Workers' Compensation standards.
What We're Looking
Previous experience in Cabin Crew Management, Training and Facilitation.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, including Part 121, and familiarity with safety protocols.
Dynamic, driven, leader, eager to take on responsibilities in a fast-growing airline.
Strong operational management experience in the aviation sector, preferably in a growing or regional airline environment.
Ability to think laterally, solve problems, and take initiative in a dynamic and expanding airline setting.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience in performance management and disciplinary processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration and development.
