As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and processing fresh meats, ensuring quality control, and maintaining an attractive and well-stocked meat department. You will also provide expert advice to customers, manage stock levels, and uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cut, trim, and portion meats (beef, lamb, pork, poultry, etc.)
- Process and package meats
- Maintain stock levels, ensuring fresh inventory and minimal waste
- Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and compliance regulations
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting with meat selection and cooking advice
- Operate and maintain butchery equipment safely
- Work as part of a team, assisting with training and mentoring where needed
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Butcher or Meat Cutter (supermarket or retail butchery preferred)
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Team player with strong attention to detail
