About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) within the Acute Care Service, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and expert mental health care across inpatient and community settings.
* Deliver advanced clinical care, assessment, and consultancy for consumers with complex mental health and AOD needs
* Provide leadership, mentoring and education to nursing staff and multidisciplinary team
* Lead quality improvement, evidence-based practice and clinical governance initiatives
Benefits & Compensation
* Isolation bonus: AUD$3,695 for 1 year, AUD$11,085 for 2 years, and AUD$7,390 for each subsequent year, pro rata for part‐time employees
* Airfare: 2 return‐airfares per annum for full‐time employees (incl. spouse/dependents) or 1 return airfare for part‐time employees to the nearest east‐coast provincial city, combined with recreation leave

Requirements
* Relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence
* Pre‐employment screening including Criminal History checks
* Vaccination or immunity evidence to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis (VPD risk role)
* Possible probationary period
