Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Berri SA, 5343 Full Time, Contracted Role up to 1 Dec 2026 About the role As a key member of our Pharmacy team based in Berri, South Australia, you will be responsible for the organisation, management, and smooth operation of pharmacy services (distribution and clinical) in the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN). Other sites in the RMCLHN receiving pharmacy services, including telehealth, are Waikerie, Renmark, Loxton and Barmera. This pivotal role involves delivering a comprehensive, high-level range of pharmacy services while exercising independent, professional judgement in providing medicines information, therapeutic advice, and tailored support to patients, clinicians, and fellow health professionals. You will play an essential role in ensuring that all services align with hospital and divisional policies, procedures, and professional pharmacy practice standards, contributing to the highest quality of patient care. Your expertise will be central to optimising patient outcomes through the safe, effective, and cost-conscious use of pharmaceuticals. You will implement evidence-based strategies to ensure the best possible quality use of medicines, fostering excellence in therapeutic care across the hospital. About You You are a qualified and experienced pharmacy professional who brings strong clinical expertise, leadership capability, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and are registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Possess extensive hospital pharmacy experience, with demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or management capability. Skilled in research, data analysis, and problem-solving, with the ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance service delivery. Excel in communication, teamwork, and training, with a strong knowledge of pharmacy practice standards, codes of practice, and regulatory requirements.
