About the role: We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Design Project Manager - Capital Works on a contract basis with our local council client in Noosa, providing client-side project management through planning and design of a major civil infrastructure project. Benefits: Monday to Friday hours Live and work in beautiful Noosa Shire Be part of projects that make a difference for Queensland communities Opportunities to collaborate with skilled public sector professionals Responsibilities include but not limited too: Liaison with internal and external stakeholders Attend and provide information where necessary at Public Information sessions run by Council and/or project working group/s Coordinate the internal review of DTMR planning and design documents and provide technical engineering guidance Review project budget and program via Councils reporting and Project Control Group processes Coordinate and liaise with Council’s Procurement Team, in the preparation of tender documentation for the design The Client: Noosa Shire Council is the local government body responsible for managing public services and infrastructure in the Noosa region of Queensland. It oversees things like roads, waste collection, parks and beaches, community facilities, libraries, and local planning and development approvals. The council also works on environmental protection, tourism management, and community programs to support residents and maintain Noosa’s lifestyle and natural environment.
