Your new role
As an Associate Structural Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping complex projects and mentoring future talent. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and delivering practical, economical, and environmentally responsible solutions to challenging engineering problems
* Producing high-quality designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, and reports
* Managing medium to large-scale projects, from pricing and tender submissions to scheduling and delivery
* Building strong client relationships and staying ahead of industry trends
* Sharing technical expertise and guiding colleagues on best practices
* Driving project profitability and ensuring financial, technical, and contractual success
What you'll need to succeed
* 8+ years' experience in structural engineering design within a consulting environment
* Experience in commercial, industrial, high-rise projects essential
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) accreditation
* Strong knowledge of BCA requirements and relevant Australian Standards
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
