We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated team player to join us as **Storeperson** in our busy and high-quality medical distribution centre at _Abbott Rapid Diagnostics ANZPI._
Based in **Darra (Queensland)**, this hands-on role will suit a proactive and organised individual with an interest in warehousing.
**Warehouse experience is desirable, however for the right person we will provide full training and support; including covering the cost of your Forklift licence.**
**Enthusiasm, a desire to learn and proven reliability are the key attributes we are looking for.**
**Your main responsibilities include**:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Processing orders and invoice goods
- Analysing and resolving discrepancies with stock
- Liaising with transport companies
- Inwards goods inspection, receipt and prompt storage of goods
- Operating machinery such as a forklift or order picker
- Assisting internal customers with stock enquiries
- Delivering a high level of service delivery to external and internal customers
- Developing and maintaining relationships between the distribution site and other areas of Abbott
**Who we're looking for**:
- A current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one as part of your training
- A high work ethic and productivity
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Passionate about working safely and maintaining excellent housekeeping
