Job Title: Principal Advisor (Real-time Network Management)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and oversee the planning and operation of Queensland's state-controlled road network, ensuring optimal performance and resource efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and building strong stakeholder partnerships to minimize disruptions and provide timely information to road users.
Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate critical incident debriefs and provide operational support to regional teams
* Drive strategic advice to resolve complex issues
* Oversight of contract delivery and performance outcomes
About You:
You will demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills, confidently navigating complex relationships, building consensus, and managing expectations across diverse groups.
A clear, concise, and compelling communicator, you know how to adjust your messaging to suit different audiences effectively.
You have proven expertise in negotiating complex documents such as contracts, service level agreements, and memoranda of understanding.
Your leadership style inspires collaboration and drives your team to achieve shared goals with clear success measures, while fostering a healthy, inclusive workplace culture.
Working Arrangements:
This role requires travel across the traffic management centres statewide, determined on business need.
An on-call arrangement is required for 7 days at least once every 6 weeks, with some after hours, weekend or public holiday work may be required subject to operational needs.
A criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
