About the Role
This is a hands-on, all-rounder position — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and working in a fast-paced retail environment. We are seeking store team members who can wear many hats!!
You'll be involved in:
* Customer service & cashiering
* Fresh produce handling
* Food preparation (coffee, sandwiches, hot food)
* Stock replenishment
* General store upkeep
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet customers and create a friendly, welcoming environment. Assist with questions and provide excellent service
Cashier / POS: Operate registers and handle cash/card transactions. Balance tills and maintain accuracy
Produce Handling: Receive, inspect, trim, and display fresh fruit & vegetables
Food Preparation: Prepare coffee, sandwiches, and grab-and-go items. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
Stocking & Store Maintenance: Restock shelves, fridges, and food areas. Maintain a clean, organised store (sweeping, mopping, cleaning displays)
What We're Looking For
* Previous retail or produce experience (preferred but not essential)
* Willingness to obtain a Food Safety Certificate
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible (including weekends/evenings)
* Comfortable working both independently and in a team
* Physically able to stand for long periods and lift 15–20kg
