Site Maintenance Manager
Our site in Scoresby, Victoria is currently looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and lead our engineering and maintenance functions at the site.
As a key member of our senior leadership team on site some of the main focus areas of this role will be:
* Managing the Engineering and Maintenance function to ensure equipment is maintained to perform at optimum levels
* Planning and managing preventive maintenance and breakdowns at the site (conducting root cause analysis to mitigate the risk of recurrence)
* Ensuring equipment reliability and uptime through effective maintenance planning and execution
* Setting and overseeing relevant KPI's for tracking performance and trends
* Contract management of 3rd party maintenance providers and other site service providers
* Developing the capability of maintenance and engineering team members
* Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce planned and unplanned downtime
* Providing safety leadership across all maintenance & engineering activity at the site

Requirements
For this role we are looking for someone with:
* A Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant trade qualifications.
* Previous experience in developing and leading an engineering and maintenance team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of budget management, cost control and financial oversight
* Proven experience leading and managing change within a manufacturing/ production environment
* Experience in leading long-standing teams on a unionised environment
* Experience in using ERP systems
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and project management skills
