Job Description Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day transaction management of a portfolio of properties on behalf of one or more national and/or global corporate services clients

Job Description

Location Preference: Canberra-based candidates, though applicants from all Australian states will be considered.

Eligibility: Australian Citizens only and must be willing to undergo security clearance.

Contract Duration: Open to a 12‐month fixed‐term contract.

What You'll Do

As a trusted advisor, you'll manage a diverse property portfolio and drive leasing outcomes that support national operations. You'll lead negotiations for lease renewals, surrenders, make goods, and market rent reviews, while identifying new site opportunities and delivering best‐in‐class solutions. Your expertise will help shape strategic decisions, particularly through your understanding of Commonwealth Leasing Strategy and government property frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end‐to‐end lease negotiations and documentationConduct market research, site inspections, and RFP/EOI processesCollaborate with Facilities, Projects, and Workplace Solutions teamsProvide strategic advice to clients and internal stakeholdersManage lease data, critical dates, and transaction reportingDrive continuous improvement and cost‐effective outcomesApply knowledge of Commonwealth leasing strategy, government procurement requirements, and property governance frameworks

What You'll Bring

3+ years' experience in commercial leasing or property transactionsProven success in complex lease negotiations and stakeholder engagementStrong market knowledge and financial acumenReal Estate Agent License or equivalent (state‐specific)Tertiary qualifications in real estate or business (preferred)Advanced negotiation and influencing skillsExperience working with government entities (highly regarded)Understanding of Commonwealth leasing strategy and government property processes
