Lead Coordinator – Capability Systems
We're excited to offer a full‐time, ongoing opportunity for an Operational Communications Systems Coordinator (internally known as Lead Coordinator - Capability Systems) to join our team. Based at our Port Melbourne headquarters with occasional travel across Victoria and hybrid working arrangements, you will play a key role in supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of LSV's capability systems across the organisation.
About the role
In this role, you will ensure that our capability frameworks, systems, resources, and data processes are cohesive, accurate, and aligned with organisational needs. You will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to support the ongoing development of member and volunteer capability across Victoria.
* Lead our operational communications (radio) function, and engage with stakeholders alike
* Lead the coordination and administration of capability systems across our emergency management function
* Support the development, maintenance, and communication of capability frameworks and related resources
* Coordinate system updates, workflows, and process improvements to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure capability systems meet organisational and regulatory requirements
* Prepare reports, dashboards and insights to support decision‐making
* Assist with the design and implementation of new capability initiatives and programs
* Provide customer-focused support to staff, members, and volunteers using capability platforms
* Maintain system documentation, procedures, and compliance requirements
About you
You will bring strong organisational ability, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. You will have:
* Experience coordinating training, capability, membership, or related systems in a complex environment
* Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, reporting and system maintenance
* An ability to interpret and support the implementation of capability or training frameworks
* High proficiency with digital systems and platforms (experience with LMS or capability systems highly regarded)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong problem‐solving skills and adaptability in a fast‐paced environment
* Ability to work with confidentiality, discretion and sound judgement
* A current (or willingness to obtain) Working with Children Check (WWCC)
