We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team on a contract basis.
This position is ideal for an experienced professional who can assist with the half-year audit and statutory reporting cycle, as well as lead the implementation of a new financial ERP system.
* Assist the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) with management of the half-year audit requests and requirements.
* Take ownership of the half-year financial statements.
* Document and assess existing accounting practices for financial products in relation to Australian Accounting Standards Board 9 (AASB 9).
The successful candidate will possess detailed knowledge of financial products businesses and AASB 9 control and reporting requirements, as well as experience in financial system change and implementation.
