Pay Rates:****
* Planner: $68.25 per hour + super (PAYG)
* Senior Planner: $77.80 per hour + super (PAYG)
Location & Hybrid Work: Parramatta - work from home up to 5 days per fortnight
* Required office days: Tuesday & Thursday
* Additional office day at candidate's discretion
Anticipated Duration: Until December 2026 with potential to extend
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare Statements of Environmental Effects (SEEs) and Review of Environmental Factors (REFs)
* Provide end-to-end planning advice on residential development projects
* Attend and contribute to internal and external stakeholder meetings
* Work collaboratively to achieve team milestones and project deliverables
* Engage with external stakeholders including government agencies
* Support assessment activities under relevant planning legislation and frameworks
About You:
Planner
* Tertiary qualification in urban/regional planning (or related discipline), or equivalent professional experience
* Strong background in residential development assessment
* Experience in Part 5 assessments is desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Eligible for membership of a relevant planning industry association
Senior Planner
* Extensive experience in residential development assessment
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex assessments and stakeholder relationships
* Strong leadership, mentoring and communication capability
* Experience in Part 5 assessments is highly regarded
* Tertiary qualification in planning or related discipline and industry eligibility
