About The Role
The Pharmacy Education Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality education and training programs for pharmacists and pharmacy teams. This includes leading structured learning initiatives, facilitating workshops, providing coaching, and overseeing major training events. The role ensures all programs align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and business objectives, ultimately improving pharmacy practice and patient outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities
Develop and deliver pharmacy education through the IPA Training Calendar, tailored programs, and the IPA Academy Online Training Platform (LMS).
Design engaging, interactive online learning modules using adult learning principles and digital tools (e.g., LMS platforms, videos, quizzes).
Create self-paced and blended learning content that enhances knowledge retention and supports flexible engagement.
Facilitate dynamic, face-to-face workshops and training sessions, using storytelling, real-world case studies, and group activities.
Adapt delivery styles to diverse audiences, fostering collaboration and practical application of learning outcomes.
Lead and mentor the Learning and Development Specialist, ensuring effective execution of training objectives and schedules.
Create engaging educational content for online and in-person formats based on adult learning principles and instructional design.
Deliver training and coaching sessions supporting skill development across multiple competencies.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related health field (desirable).
Certifications in learning design, education, and training (essential).
Expertise in e-learning development and instructional design, including digital learning platforms and tools.
Extensive experience in pharmacy practice, education, or professional development.
Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs both online and in-person with measurable outcomes.
Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with experience leading workshops.
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
Experience in event management and sponsorship engagement (desirable).
