Job Description
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation.
* Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Manage inventory and operational accounting activities
* Manage month end actiivities and delegate activities amongst a capable team of accountants
* Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support decision-making.
* Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to stakeholders.
* Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable team
* Collaborate with external auditors and ensure successful completion of audits.
* Implement and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA.
* Experience leading and managing a team
* Exposure to a product related industry (FMCG, Manufacturing etc.)
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
* Audit background is also preferred but not a prerequisite
* Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
