Teacher - Independence Coach
This role offers a unique opportunity to empower individuals at risk of homelessness to achieve their goals and overcome challenges. As a Teacher of Developing Independence, you will work closely with our clients to understand their aspirations and develop tailored education and employment pathways.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Community Services, Youthwork, or Homelessness, as well as knowledge in Mental Health and support resources. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with students, colleagues, and industry stakeholders. Excellent communication and ICT skills are also required.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and oversee teaching materials, resources, and equipment.
* Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
* Undertake training to ensure continuous evolution with students.
* SUPPORT AND MENTOR STUDENTS TO THRIVE AND REACH THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL.
* Provide resources and knowledge of support organisations to students.
