The duties and team
You will enjoy working in a large, but close knit team of UG mobile plant operators. Reporting to the development or productionSupervisor- your duties will include;
- Charging faces (working with emulsion-based explosives)
- Working closely with the jumbo and long-hole operators
- Working closely with a tight knit crew
- Working in a highly safe manner
Your skills and experience
Your 1-2+ years recent experience working as a charge up operator will put you in a great position with the tasks you will face in this role. Other key skill/ licenses needed;
- Underground hard rock mining development/production charge up experience (essential)
- Experience working with emulsion-based explosives
- Excellent safety standards
- Team player and have the ability to work autonomously
- Looking for long term permanent work on a FIFO 2:2 roster
