**About Us**
Come and join the Western Sydney Airport team delivering Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport, the lynchpin of the extraordinary transformation currently underway to develop Sydney's third city and Aerotropolis.
One of the largest infrastructure projects underway in Australia, Western Sydney International will open to international, domestic and air cargo services in late 2026 and will eventually grow to be one of Australia's biggest gateways to the world.
**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will responsible for supporting the procurement team to ensure compliance with WSA policies, procedures and the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, where applicable.
Your role will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Procurement team on a variety of tasks such as contract variations, purchasing, expenses, conduct sourcing activities and reporting.
- Managing record keeping and documentation to ensure compliance for procurement related issues.
- Providing advice in relation to procurement matters to internal stakeholders.
- Support the successful delivery of best practice procurement change initiatives.
- Monitor internal procurement systems and processes to ensure compliance is achieved.
- Provide excellent customer service ensuring a professional and timely approach is consistently maintained.
**About You**
This a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual seeking to kick start a career in Procurement. We'd like to hear from you if you have the following:
- A genuine interest in building your career within a Procurement discipline;
- A qualification in a business or procurement related discipline is preferred but not essential;
- Highly motivated to learn and grow;
- A confident communicator able to effectively engage across a broad range of stakeholder groups at a professional level;
- Enthusiastic, self-driven and a positive "can do" attitude who is proactive;
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Demonstrated ability to quality with a high attention to detail;
- An ability to plan and be well organised to support work autonomously as required.
It would be desirable if you had:
- Experience in an Administration, Procurement or a Finance related role.
