We're looking for a Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data, integration, and AI capabilities About the Role Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will lead solution architecture activities that guide the design, development, and implementation of modern, scalable systems across information management, integration services, and AI/automation. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to create and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps and deliver architecture designs that are aligned with our strategic frameworks and principles. Your Responsibilities As a key contributor to our team, your role will include: Leading the design of technology and business integration solutions aligned with organisational goals and industry best practices. Developing and reviewing roadmaps, solution blueprints, and integration architecture to support digital transformation initiatives. Shaping the enterprise data framework, including master data management, AI, and cloud services. Researching emerging technologies in data integration, automation, and cloud to identify opportunities for innovation. Creating clear and comprehensive architecture diagrams and design documentation. Providing expert advice to business leaders and SMEs to enhance technical outcomes and promote customer-centric solutions. Preparing high-level technical reports, briefings, and submissions. Building strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive successful outcomes. Key Requirements We're looking for someone with: A strong background across multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments, especially COTS products. Expertise in data integration technologies, including ETL tools, middleware, and platforms like Mulesoft, Boomi, or cloud-native solutions (Azure/AWS). Experience with real-time data streaming and modern data pipeline architectures. A working knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts. Proficiency in hybrid cloud environments and integration between on-prem and cloud services. Strong SQL and data modelling skills, with familiarity across relational and NoSQL databases. Understanding of various project methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and PRINCE2. Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (highly desirable).
