Finance Analyst (Contract - strong potential for permanent)
An established organisation on the Gold Coast is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team on a contract basis, with a strong potential to transition into a permanent role.
Working alongside another analyst, you'll support key financial processes and deliver analysis that helps drive business performance. The role will suit someone who enjoys a mix of reporting, investigation, and collaboration within a supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial and management reports
* Analyse financial performance and variances to budget
* Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and data accuracy
* Partner with operations and finance to provide clear insights
* Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
About you:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA qualified or working towards)
* Experience in a similar finance or analyst role within a large or complex organisation
* Advanced Excel skills; SAP or TM1 experience is advantageous
* Google suite experience is a big plus
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Must currently reside on the Gold Coast
