About the Role

This is a casual position with the opportunity to progress to Permanent Part-time hours. We support people living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs, and older Australians. Our services include aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home, and palliative care.

Responsibilities
">
As a Home Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, domestic assistance, transportation, and medication reminders. You will also assist with other activities of daily living, such as meal preparation and social outings.

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Care, a satisfactory Australian National Police check, current first aid and CPR certificate, and a driver's licence with full comprehensive insurance. A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people, excellent written and verbal skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and high level of time management and organisational ability are also essential.
