What you'll do As a Sessional Trainer in our team you'll:Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging face to face training sessions, incorporating hands on skills and assessments.Work with individuals from different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them become job-ready, grow their confidence and achieve lasting change.Share your industry experience through short, engaging 4-5 day Training U For Work programs, giving learners the chance to take a small step that leads to big opportunities.Deliver courses in your area of expertise, such as:Digital & Business Skills - computer basics, customer service, retail, business supportHospitality - bar, café and food-production essentialsCleaning & Housekeeping - commercial cleaning, hygiene and housekeepingHorticulture, Construction and WarehousingFor more information on Training U For Work courses, please click HERE (available from our careers website).
What you'll bring TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - EssentialHands on relevant industry experience and/or qualificationsA collaborative approach with great people skills, organisation and initiative.Comfortable skills with tech and able to manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently.
Familiarity with Canvas is beneficial.
Additional requirements Flexibility is required to travel to different training locations each week, across Brisbane and the surrounding areas.
Accommodation is provided for trips over 90 minutes.You'll need a current driver's license and your own car to transport equipment (e.g, warehousing gear, café machines, training materials).
Trainers must be able to lift up to 20kgs as part of transporting and setting up equipment.You'll be working with people from all backgrounds and experience levels, so a positive attitude and solutions-focused mindset is key.
(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check - but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
