What you will do:
This role involves several key responsibilities:
? Individualised Support: Working 1:1 with a student junior primary student who has additional learning needs, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and socially. Also be required to teach a mainstream Reception to 2 class.
? Differentiated Curriculum Planning: Developing and implementing a curriculum that is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the student. This involves adapting teaching methods and materials to ensure the student can access the curriculum effectively. Also, to develop whole class learning plans and programming.
? Collaboration: Working closely with other educators, specialists, and the student's family to create a comprehensive support plan. This may include regular meetings to discuss progress and adjust strategies as needed.
? Monitoring and Assessment: Continuously assessing the students? progress and making necessary adjustments to the teaching plan. This includes setting achievable goals and tracking improvements.
