They are seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to oversee the operations of their training facilities in South Melbourne and East Melbourne.This role is about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes of this Registered Training Organisation (RTO) while leading a small team to deliver seamless, positive experiences for students, clients, and trainers.
You'll be the go-to person for logistics, scheduling, resources, and team support, ensuring programs are delivered on time, to standard, and with a professional yet welcoming feel.What you'll be doingOversee and coordinate day-to-day training operations and logisticsLead and support a small team, encouraging collaboration and professional growthPlan and manage training logistics: scheduling courses, ensuring resources and venues are ready to goBe the main point of contact for clients, trainers, participants and internal teamsMaintain accurate CRM and VETtrak recordsContribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with VET standardsManage reporting, analytics, performance, and admin requirementsWhat we're looking forExperience in operations, admin, or training coordination and team leadership experienceCertificate IV in Business Administration (TAE desirable but not needed to apply)Strong organisational skills and attention to detailExceptional verbal and written communication skills and a customer-first approachConfident with Student Management Systems (VETtrak experience highly valued)Knowledge of VET system and regulatory requirementsProblem-solver who thrives under pressureSupportive and approachable leadership styleWhy you'll love this roleFull-time permanent position, hours between 7am–6pm (Mon-Fri)Salary: $85,000 – 90,000 + superSouth Melbourne (3205) & East Melbourne (3002) office locations (onsite parking)Hybrid work arrangement: combine work from home with the officeGreat benefits including salary packaging and additional leave optionsFlexible and supportive workplace with real growth opportunitiesA leadership role where you can really make an impactFriendly, values-driven team with a genuine focus on employee wellbeingIf you're ready to take the next step in your operations career and enjoy leading a team while keeping things organised and efficient, we'd love to hear from you
