Overview
A Central NT hospital is seeking a Registrar/PHO in Emergency Medicine for full-time placement from 11 May 2026 to 21 June 2026. The role is for a PGY4+ registrar with at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience above RMO level in Australia or New Zealand. Compensation is $110–$180 per hour, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide timely assessment and intervention for a wide range of medical emergencies, including trauma, acute illness and critical care.
* Collaborate closely with other hospital departments and external services to ensure effective communication, resource allocation and patient flow.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care continuity.
Qualification Requirements
* PGY4+ Emergency Medicine registrar.
* Minimum 12 months of ED experience above RMO level in Australia or New Zealand.
* Full-time availability from 11 May to 21 June 2026.
Compensation & Benefits
* Hourly rate of $110–$180 depending on experience.
