Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to provide technical advice on the maintenance, renewal, and construction of bridges and structures.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant 4-year (minimum) university degree in engineering accredited by Engineers Australia, or equivalent qualifications recognised by Engineers Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilize bridge management systems to scope, develop, monitor, and execute bridge maintenance, renewal, or upgrade projects aligned with strategic policies and guidelines.
* Prepare briefs and specifications for scoping, development, contract administration, or investigation work.
* Inspect, monitor, and report on bridge and structure performance.
* Supervise technical staff or consultants in the performance of duties as directed.
* Provide specialized technical advice on maintenance, renewal, and construction of bridges and structures.
* Represent the organization on relevant state and national committees as required.
Requirements:
* A relevant 4-year (minimum) university degree in engineering accredited by Engineers Australia, or equivalent qualifications recognised by Engineers Australia.
* Maintenance of qualifications throughout employment.
