Assistant in Nursing (AIN) - Nursing Talent Pipeline

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health is seeking motivated and compassionate Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our Nursing Talent Pipeline (Nurse Grade 1, Band 1 and Band 2 - Sterilising Services).
This recruitment process will remain open until 31 December 2026. Applications will be assessed and progressed throughout the year to support permanent and fixed-term vacancies across the Health Service.
As an AIN, you will provide person-centred support within a dynamic health environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife. You will contribute to safe, quality care outcomes by supporting daily care needs and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
AIN Band 2 (Sterilising Services) roles specialise in cleaning, sterilising and maintaining clinical equipment and require completion of a Certificate III in Sterilising Services.
Through this pipeline, your completed application may be referred to a range of clinical areas across the Health Service based on service need and alignment with your skills, qualifications and preferences.
To support appropriate referral, applicants must complete the application questionnaire in full.
Referrals will be made in line with operational demand and service priorities. Please note: inclusion in the talent pipeline does not guarantee appointment. Candidates will be drawn from the pipeline on a needs basis as vacancies arise.

Remuneration
Nurse Grade 1, Band 1:
$2, $2,845.70 p.f (full-time) or $ $37.44 p.h (part-time)
Nurse Grade 1, Band 2 (Sterilising Services):
$2, $2,894.60 p.f (full-time) or $ $38.08 p.h (part-time)
Plus employer superannuation up to 12.75% and annual leave loading (17.5%).
