We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
We are seeking dedicated educators who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning within a dynamic K‐6 environment. Suitable applicants would ideally be innovative, highly motivated professionals capable of delivering high‐quality teaching as part of a collaborative team. They should display a strong understanding of effective instructional strategies, actively engaging students in meaningful learning, and show a genuine passion for the teaching profession. A commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice would be highly regarded. Suitable applicants should ideally possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be collaborative members of the whole‐school community, embracing the school's vision, values and strategic direction. They would use a range of positive classroom management strategies, foster productive learning environments, effectively plan for differentiation and build strong partnerships with parents. Responsibility for delivering high‐quality learning programmes, including the integration of digital technologies across the curriculum, is regarded as integral to the role.

Mobility Appointments
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3‐year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‐year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
* Note that south west teachers are not eligible to move to another south west school under this trial.
