As our Control Systems Engineer, you'll take ownership of our PLC and automation control systems to ensure equipment reliability across the site. You'll play a critical role in supporting production, quality, and spoilage reduction goals, while leading capital projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues.
2. Manage site industrial automation systems – PLCs (AB, Omron), SCADA (Ignition).
3. Manage breakdown response and corrective actions.
4. Oversee inventory and procurement of control system supplies.
5. Installation and commissioning new equipment and systems.
6. Develop business cases and capital project proposals.
About You
7. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a relevant Electrical Trade Certificate.
8. 2–5 years of hand on experience, with a strong ability to work with others.
9. A strong background in PLC and automation programming.
