Akooramak Care of the Older Person is seeking a vibrant creative individual to join our Lifestyle team.
Our lifestyle team run a fun and stimulating activities program which includes exercise classes, arts & crafts, VR, and gardening, and the ever-popular bingo
Our program also features theme days, armchair travel (who doesn't love a free trip to Paris) and outings to the local community such as Morning teas and lunches, Warwick Rodeo, Jumpers and Jazz, and Shopping trips.
Major focus of your role:
Deliver high quality purposeful programs that enhance our residents' lives.
Assist in development and delivery of a program that meets the needs of our residents
Assist our residents to maintain independence, friendships, and community connections.
Work with our residents to develop and maintain their support plans
Do you have?
A sense of fun and an interest in bettering the lives of others.
Good computer skills, including use of social media
Good communication skills
Experience in Aged care (desirable but not essential)
Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this or willingness to obtain).
