This role excels in demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), translating insights and collaborating across functions to create unbiased, accurate forecasts. The role involves storytelling with data, influencing stakeholders, and orchestrating cross-functional inputs for forecast accuracy. You will work closely with the Demand Planner (L2) for data preparation.Role ResponsibilitiesOwn the overall volume forecast, ensuring it is unbiased and accurate.Explain forecast assumptions and composition to the Country Category Business Team.Bring stakeholders together to make trade decisions that drive performance.Review forecast KPIs with L2 and work on closing gaps.Develop robust business cases and communicate their evolution to support inventory and waste optimization.Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver input-led volume forecasts in S&OP.Address product availability issues, crisis, and gap management collaboratively.Implement exception-based planning within S&OP, leveraging technology.Monitor forecast adherence and drive continuous improvement.Lead weekly customer collaboration sessions.Support portfolio management and segmentation initiatives.Key AccountabilitiesDeliver an unbiased, aligned, and accurate volume forecast.Communicate forecast assumptions clearly to the Business Unit.Facilitate stakeholder collaboration for decision-making.Review and improve forecast KPIs with L2.SkillsMastery in planningStakeholder collaboration and managementInfluencing skillsEffective communication and storytellingUnderstanding of S&OP and business environmentException-based planning expertiseKey InteractionsWork with Customer & Channel Development, Customer Development, Marketing, and Finance to deliver forecasts, including for non-forecastable segments and innovations.Coordinate with supply chain teams for product availability and crisis management.Collaborate with Finance, Project Managers, and other stakeholders on business case assumptions and tracking.Partner with L2 on forecast creation, tracking, and improvement.What awaits you at Unilever?Join a dynamic, flexible, and inclusive environment that values your wellbeing and success.
