About the Role
We are seeking highly skilled Tradespeople to fill this critical position at our operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough fault finding and reactive repairs to plant and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and restore functionality.
* Complete scheduled maintenance activities, including during planned plant shutdowns.
* Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and reliability teams to improve asset performance.
* Accurately record all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – SAP.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
* Maintain compliance with safety procedures and work standards, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and effectively.
* Assist in planning and executing maintenance strategies to align with operational goals and long-term asset care plans.
Requirements:
* Australian Trade qualifications (minimum of Certificate III).
* A strong commitment to safety.
* Knowledge and experience in hydraulic systems.
* Experience in fault finding and troubleshooting repairs on various plant equipment.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and quality control.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within a manufacturing environment.
* Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet.
