As a Blast Hole Driller at Gruyere, you'll be responsible for operating rigs safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets. You'll be a key part of a skilled and supportive team, playing a vital role in delivering precise and productive outcomes. Key responsibilities:
* Safely operate blast hole drills to drill holes to specified depths and patterns according to blast designs
* Conduct pre-start checks and inspect drilling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
* Work closely with Shotfirers and Supervisors to achieve accurate drill patterns
* Monitor ground conditions and adjust drilling techniques to suit varying terrain and rock types
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 4 Years' experience in drill and blast operations
* Experience with Sandvik D1650i, DP1500i and DR410i & CAT MD6250
* HR Licence (advantageous)
