We are a friendly and professional podiatry practice seeking a reliable and personable Medical Receptionist to join our team in a casual job-share role. This position involves approximately 12 hours per week, with the potential for occasional additional hours to cover leave.
About the Role:
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone
Booking and managing appointments
Processing payments and Medicare/health fund claims
Maintaining patient records and general admin duties
Supporting our podiatrists and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
Friendly, professional, and confident with people of all ages
Organised, efficient, and able to multitask in a busy environment
Comfortable with technology and learning new systems (Cliniko experience is a plus)
Reliable, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
Previous experience in medical or allied health reception is desirable but not essential
