Role and responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members (Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing) to deliver patient care
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs
Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives to deliver desired outcomes
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Minimum requirements
Minimum of 3 years' RN experience in Scrub Scout / Perioperative Nursing
Proven perioperative experience in one or more specialties: Neurosurgery, Vascular, Cardio-thoracic, General, Urology, Gynae, Robotics
Current Authority to Work in Australia
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Current Registration (no restrictions) with AHPRA
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a high functioning team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Hold a valid NSW Working with Children check for employment
Hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from 35.46 to 49.79 per hour.
