Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Warranty Inspector to join our team in Queensland, Australia. As a Service Warranty Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections within the Brisbane South and surrounding areas, identifying defects, creating scopes of work for repairs, and providing written assessments.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary education or trade qualifications, with experience in the building and construction industry. You will have strong project management skills, knowledge of building regulations, WHS regulations, and QA systems. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Your Responsibilities
* Conduct service warranty inspections as per standard procedures and processes
* Qualify defects, disqualify non-defects, and create scope of works for repairs with cost estimates
* Perform ad hoc site inspections for active jobs
* Provide written assessments on all inspections
* Continuously review building practices and procedures, fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork are paramount
